Healthy (and a few not so healthy!) Recipes

Disclaimer: I haven't tested all or even most of these recipes, but I've found them in my journeys and made a note of them. Finally, I decided to collect them all in one place! None of these are my personal recipes, merely things that have snagged my interest over the ages. In the cases of some recipes, I wasn't sure a forum post would remain active, so I created an archive on this wiki; a link to the original is available below the text of the recipe. In some cases, recipes are from publications like books and magazines; if there is no digital version available at the date of the wiki creation, I've included the source.

Not all recipes are labeled GF (gluten-free) or SF (soy-free) that are. The label came from the original recipe source. I may go through and label the rest accordingly one day. Many of the recipes under "Vegetarian Recipes" can be made vegan quite easily. I've indicated the animal product that makes them not vegan. In a few cases, where I deemed a substitute or omission exceptionally simple, while maintaining the recipe's integrity, I filed that recipe under "Vegan Recipes."

Black Bean Brownies* Delicious! Instead of sugar, I used 8 dates (soaked in warm water, pitted and roughly chopped with kitchen shears) and a squirt of agave around the bowl of the food processor. I added about 2 tbsp more cocoa and used hazelnut meal instead of almond meal because it was cheaper. And I used almond butter instead of the oil because I wanted more of a nutritious bang for my buck. I can already tell that I will be making these often!
